The Ph.D. in Data Science and Engineering is a joint collaborative program between Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, and Mathematics departments. Data science is a rapidly growing interdisciplinary field that involves researchers from many STEM disciplines with applications found throughout science and engineering. The advancement in business analytics can be attributed to data science and has proven to unlock actionable intelligence and insights.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports a 22% growth in Computer and Information Research Scientists from 2020 to 2030. This program is for you if you want to be on the cutting-edge of answering the most complex questions with data.
