Your Grubby ID is your library card. To access your online library card, click here. Sign in with your campus email address and password.If you are not on campus and would like a South Dakota Mines library card, please contact us at library@sdsmt.edu.

Renew Materials
Most library materials may be renewed:
- in person
- on the phone, (605) 394-2418
- or online via My Library Card Patrons may also check the status of interlibrary requests, due dates, and fines from this link.
Please note that Interlibrary Loan materials and some high demand items may not be renewed; please check with the library BEFORE these items are due if you wish to extend the loan period.
Presentations and Tours
Library staff is available to provide formal presentations or tours to individuals
and/or groups. Presentations and tours are tailored to the specific needs of the group
or individual. Presentations can be in a classroom, office or meeting space, or via
Zoom.

Research Assistance
Library staff are happy to assist library users, demonstrating use of library resources, to help researchers complete their research as efficiently as possible. The library staff is trained to use the most effective research tools and techniques available for various research projects and share this expertise with those needing assistance with their research projects.

Thesis and Dissertation Preparation
Printing & Binding Services
The library provides reproduction and binding services for South Dakota Mines thesis
and dissertations. Once the thesis/dissertation has been completed, make an appointment
to discuss your options and/or costs.
