STEM Summer Camps at South Dakota Mines
We are gearing up for a great summer camp season and are so excited for you to be a part of it! Mark your calendar for January 1st when registration opens and be sure to sign up for our summer camp interest list so you have an early opportunity to register for our most in-demand camps.
Join us on the South Dakota Mines campus for our STEM summer camps! Our summer camps offer a fun intro to science and engineering. These pre-college experiences are designed to expose students to how science works in the real world by providing exciting hands-on experiences. Day camps are hosted by some of our prestigious faculty whose expertise gives campers a glimpse into STEM careers and gets them excited about their education. Campers participate in on-campus activities and field trips throughout the day. From out of town? Take this opportunity to have a fun family vacation in the Black Hills. Black Hills & Badlands and Visit Rapid City are great planning resources. We offer limited on-campus lodging you can find more information here, use this link to request lodging.
Also note, that grade refers to the student's grade during the 2024-2025 school year. In addition, students over the age of 19 do not qualify to attend these summer camps. Students that are 19 must have just graduated high school during the 2024-2025 school year.
