Scheduling & Event Operations

The Scheduling & Event Operations staff is dedicated to providing exceptional services, facilities, and event planning for both campus and community needs. Located on the main level of the Surbeck Center behind the main desk, the office serves as a central resource for scheduling.

Working with students, staff, faculty, and community members, the team ensures optimal use of the Surbeck Center and other general-use university spaces. They coordinate facilities, personnel, and resources to support a wide range of academic, student, community, and professional events on campus.

Online Room Request and Reservations

  1. Use the Event Planning Checklist (.pdf) to make sure you have your plans in order before making your online request.
  2. Review our Facility Use Guidelines and our Campus Use Procedure for information on the policies and procedures that apply to your reservation.
  3. Check our Rooms and Spaces information for facility details.
  4. Submit your reservation request online:

  5. You will receive an automatic email confirmation of your request. Once the request has been approved you will receive another email with the approval notification. Please verify that all event details are correct.
  6. Staff must optimize the needs of all parties; this may involve reassignment of your event after confirmation. In the event this happens, Scheduling & Event Operations will work with you to ensure your event happens with minimal disruption.
