Brief Bio

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City, SD. Previously, I was a Junior Fellow in the Rice Academy of Fellows at Rice University in Houston, TX. I was hosted by César Uribe. Prior to that, I was a postdoctoral scholar working with Henrik Sandberg and Karl Henrik Johansson in the Division of Decision and Control Systems, at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, in Stockholm, Sweden. I received my Ph.D. in Automatic Control from Université Grenoble Alpes in 2018, under the joint supervision of Dr. Alain Kibangou and Dr. Federica Garin. Prior to that, I received a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2013.

Research Expertise

My current research interests are primarily in Stability analysis, control and estimation of dynamic networked systems, with a particular emphasis on epidemiological networks. In the past, I have also worked on studying security in cyber-physical systems by leveraging the theory of structured systems.
