Brief Bio
Dr. Beeler is a research scientist in the Engineering and Mining Experiment Station where he manages and assists users with analytical instrumentation for the characterization of geologic, biological, and manufactured materials. In addition, Dr. Beeler also maintains a research program focused on understanding the co-evolution of life and its environment throughout Earth’s history. He joined South Dakota Mines in 2019 after completing his Ph.D. in Earth and Planetary Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis.
