Brief Bio

Dr. Allard is a lecturer in the Department of Mining Engineering and Management at South Dakota Mines. She received a Ph.D. in business administration from Northcentral University, an M.B.A. in management and an M.S. in human resources from the University of South Dakota, and a B.S. in business administration in accounting and management from Black Hills State University.

Research Expertise
Research interests are in all areas of human resources and management.
Teaching

Dr. Allard's teaching specialties are centered in management. Areas include human resources, finance, economics, mine management, mediation and negotiation, mining law, international business, supervision, organizational behavior, and recruitment and retention.
