South Dakota Mines Invites Community to Join in Rocker Days Celebration
The South Dakota Mines Hardrockers are gearing up for their Rocker Days week of celebration with several events planned, leading up to the homecoming football game against New Mexico Highlands at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, which includes a military flyover by Nebraska’s Offutt Air Force Base during the National Anthem and the traditional frosh run at halftime.
Saturday’s festivities also include a Rockers Day Parade at 10 a.m. through downtown Rapid City, an event that is returning after several years. More than 30 local businesses and student organizations are participating.
