Transfer Students

 

An applicant for admission to South Dakota Mines is considered a transfer applicant if he or she has enrolled for any college-level work, full or part-time, since graduation from high school or completion of GED.South Dakota Mines has created transfer guides for regional institutions and surrounding states. These are reviewed yearly- please contact the Office of Admissions for the most up-to-date information.

Transfer Policies

In general, all academic credit from regionally accredited institutions will transfer to South Dakota Mines. Your official transfer evaluation (provided after acceptance) will detail how your transfer credit is applied to your degree. You can view our policies regarding transfer credit in the South Dakota Board of Regents Policy Manual.
