What is the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER?

• Next-Generation ACCUPLACER is an academic placement test.  Your scores are used to determine course placement in Math and Writing.    
• Next-Generation ACCUPLACER tests use a multiple-choice format.   

How do I register for Next-Generation ACCUPLACER?

• After the Admissions or Registrar's Office determines that testing is necessary, contact the Testing Advisor (Susan.Satter@sdsmt.edu) to make an appointment to take Next-Generation ACCUPLACER. For students taking this exam for admissions/placement purposes, there is no charge. 

TEST Location Options

• You can complete the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER testing either in-person at the SDSMT Testing center or through Zoom with the SDSMT Testing Advisor.
