Office of the Provost

As Interim Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Jim Stone serves as the chief academic officer at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.
It is the responsibility of the Office of the Provost to oversee undergraduate, graduate and professional education, advocate for academic priorities and institutional improvement, and ensure that we recruit and retain an exceptional faculty.
