Breif Bio
Dr. Li is an associate professor in the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering. Before joining SD Mines in 2015, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas at Austin from 2011 to 2015. He completed his Ph.D. at the Technical University of Valencia in Spain.
Research Expertise
Dr. Li's research focuses on hydrogeology, with particular emphasis on groundwater modeling, data assimilation, geo-statistics, geothermal energy, and machine learning.
