Master of Engineering

The Master of Engineering (MEng) degree is a coursework-only professional program with a substantive management component for engineers employed in or preparing to enter technical management roles in business and industry. This new professional degree is an alternative to more traditional research-oriented Master of Science engineering degrees offered at South Dakota Mines. The program will support engineers in maintaining and/or obtaining licensure via the technical coursework in the curriculum while strengthening their leadership skills via the organizational management elements of the program. For more information regarding professional engineering licensure requirements by state, please visit: http://www.nspe.org/resources/licensure/licensing-boards.
