Construction Management Certificate

Practicing professionals or students seeking upper-level management positions in various construction-related industries may be interested in the construction management certificate. This program is designed to give students the focused construction education necessary to advance their careers. It is comprised of four construction courses selected by the student from the Construction Engineering and Management Master of Science degree curriculum. Many students have used certificates as the starting point for their graduate education.

A student who holds a BS degree wishing to pursue further study without a commitment to advanced degree candidacy may apply as a special student at the graduate level. Upon admission as a special student, he/she will be subject to Graduate Office policies, including the probation policy. Special students may accumulate a maximum of 12 credit hours before the student must either apply for admission as a degree-seeking student or must petition for a variance from this policy. Graduate students classified as special students are not eligible for assistantships or financial aid.
